Florence V. Stevens CULVER - Florence V. Stevens, 86 , Culver, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at Mid-American Health Care, Lincoln. Mrs. Stevens was born Florence V. Taylor on July 24, 1913, at Beverly and was a resident of the Culver area most of her life. She was an elementary and junior high school teacher, teaching in several schools in Ottawa and Saline counties and retiring in 1978. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert, in 1997. Survivors include her husband, Donald K. of the home; a son Kenneth James of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Patty Rogers of Fort Collins, Colo.; a sister, Vera McBride of Salina; four grandchildren; and two step grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, the Rev. Helen Dent officiating. There will be no visitation. Shields Funeral Home, 405 Argyle, Minneapolis 67467, is handling arrangements. |
